The Haughton Lady Bucs and Airline Lady Vikings remained undefeated with victories Tuesday night.
Haughton defeated Plain Dealing 58-26 at Plain Dealing and Airline downed Minden 53-21 at Minden.
The Lady Bucs improved to 11-0. The Lady Vikings are 7-0.
Elsewhere, the Parkway Lady Panthers bounced back from their first defeat with a 49-41 victory over Lakeview at Parkway, and the Benton Lady Tigers defeated Mansfield 56-40 at Benton.
The Lady Panthers are 10-1 and the Lady Tigers are 7-3.
At Haughton, Shaniya Perkins continued her strong start to the season with a game-high 20 points. Skylar Branch added 14 and Bella Hammond 13.
Jakayla Douglas led Plain Dealing (6-4) with 16.
The Lady Lions stayed close early. Haughton led 16-11 after the first quarter.
Hammond knocked down two 3-pointers as the Lady Bucs went on a 14-4 second-quarter run for a 30-15 halftime lead. Perkins and Branch scored eight each in the third quarter.
Hammond finished with three 3-pointers and has seven in two games this week.
Haughton is playing in the Cedar Creek tournament later this week. Plain Dealing hosts Lakeside Thursday.
At Parkway, Dakota Howard led the Lady Panthers with 22 points. Zara Baker added nine and Jasmyne Hendrix seven. Parkway played without starter Savannah Wilson, who was out sick.
Lakeview led 18-17 at the half. Howard got going in the second half. She scored six in the third quarter. Baker also hit a 3 and the game was tied at 29 after three.
Howard scored 10 in the fourth as the Lady Panthers outscored the Lady Gators 20-12. Parkway was 9-of-13 from the free throw line in the quarter.
Najahe Davis led Lakeview (8-3) with 20 points.
Parkway is playing in the ASH tournament this week.
At Minden, Ke’zyriah Sykes and Nia Williams led the Lady Vikings with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Addison McDowell added 10.
Airline got off to a slow start offensively but still led 7-3 after the first quarter. McDowell scored five and McDowell hit a 3-pointer in the second. Airline continued to play strong defense and led 20-5 at the half. Sykes and McDowell scored seven each in Airline’s 20-point third quarter.
Airline hosts Bossier Friday.
At Benton, Taylor Brown paced the Lady Tigers with 12 points. Addison Morris added nine.
Jannah Carter, Kryshna Bostic and Sugar Sanchez scored eight apiece.
Carter had three steals and Sanchez had seven rebounds.
Lainey Lafitte grabbed 11 rebounds and scored seven points.
Benton is playing in the ASH tournament this week.
