The Parkway Lady Panthers split games in the Sandra Meadows Classic Friday in Duncanville, Texas.
Parkway fell to Frisco, Texas, Liberty 42-28 in the second round in the morning then bounced back with a 62-47 victory over Brentwood, Calif., in a consolation game in the afternoon.
Savannah Wilson and Dakota Howard led Parkway (14-3) against Brentwood with 21 and 20 points, respectively.
Wilson hit three 3-pointers and scored 17 points in the first half. The Lady Panthers trailed 13-11 after the first quarter then outscored Brentwood 24-10 in the second.
Howard scored 13 and Wilson 10 against Liberty. The Lady Panthers couldn’t overcome a 26-12 first-half deficit.
Elsewhere, Haughton suffered its first loss. The Lady Bucs dropped a tough 37-34 decision to Zachary in the West Monroe tournament.
Junior guard Ava Raymond scored all 12 of Zachary’s points in the fourth and the Lady Broncos held on for the victory. Raymond finished with 20 points as Zachary improved to 10-2.
Shaniya Perkins and Skylar Branch led Haughton (16-1) with 12 points each.
