The Benton Lady Tigers finished runner-up in the Pineville tournament Saturday.
Benton fell to Zachary 3-2 in a penalty kicks shootout in the championship game.
Hailey McGhee, who had an outstanding tournament, scored two goals. Sarah Varnado had an assist. Breanna Bundy, Aidan McGhee, Kyla Kligensmith and Baylee Cortez scored goals in the shootout.
Benton also defeated Pineville 4-1 Saturday.
McGhee scored three goals, and Annalee Ward had one. Allison Risher had an assist.
Benton defeated Delta Charter 4-1 and Opelousas Catholic 3-1 on Friday.
Bundy scored two goals against Delta Charter. Georgia Carroway had one goal and one assist. Kobi Crayton scored a goal, and Ashley Young had an assist.
Carrroway, Aidan McGhee and Hailey McGhee scored goals against Opelousas Catholic.
Benton improved to 5-3-1.
The Benton boys defeated Loyola 2-1 and tied Lafayette 1-1 Saturday.
Carter Parks scored twice against Loyola. Max Kenyan got the assist.
Sean Loftin scored the goal against Lafayette, and Kenyan had an assist.
The Airline boys defeated Comeaux 1-0 and lost to East Ascension 5-0 in Pineville.
Keaton Love scored on an assist from Tung Khai against Comeaux.
