Two Benton wrestlers posted high finishes in the Louisiana Classic tournament Saturday in Gonzalez.
Audrina Wade finished second in the 126-pound class. Caylee Brammer was third in the 120-pound class.
Wade pinned her first two opponents, both in :32, to reach the semifinals where she pinned Gianna Muscarella of Niceville in 4:43.
She fell to undefeated and No. 1 seed Quetzicall Guevara-Tapia of Lafayette by an 8-3 decision in the championship match.
Brammer pinned two opponents to reach the semifinals where she lost to Mora Penberthy of Niceville.
She pinned Maria Pascua-Mendoza of Mandeville n the consolation semifinals in 2:01 and Lynette Elizondo of South Beauregard in 2:29 in the third-place match.
Benton finished sixth with 77 points. Del City, the 7th-ranked Class 6A team in Oklahoma, won with 168.
Lafayette, the girls state runner-up last season, was second with 136.5. Defending state champion Baton Rouge was third with 94.
