High school indoor track: Bossier City’s Dart wins boys 3,200 in LSU Last Chance Qualifier; Parkway’s Crosby second in girls 1,600

Bossier City’s Will Dart, a Loyola College Prep senior, won the boys 3,200-meter run in the LSU Last Chance Qualifier indoor meet Saturday in Baton Rouge.

Dart’s winning time of 9 minutes, 19.22 seconds was just off the meet record of 9:17.07 set by St. Paul’s Eric Coston in 2017.

Belle Chasse’s Louden Boudreaux was second in 9:20.55.

Dart also finished seventh in the 800 in 2:03.64.

Parkway’s Joslyn Crosby finished second in the girls 1,600 in 5:23.61. St. Joseph’s Isabelle Brown won in 5:21.83.

Airline’s Joshua Burns was eighth in the boys 3,200 in 10:13.45 and ninth in the 1,600 in 4:43.43.

Benton’s Jacob Marcinkus finished 10th in the 3,200 in 10:20.72 and 11th in the 1,600 in 4:45:53.

Parkway’s Jazz Rasouliyan was ninth in the girls 1,600 in 5:42.97.

Airline’s Collin Morgan finished 13th in the boys 800 in 2:07.06.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Indoor Track & Field State Meet is Feb. 22 at LSU.
