While heavy rains Friday night and Saturday caused the cancellation of the final day of the Bossier soccer tournament, the Gator Cup hosted by Captain Shreve continued.
The teams were able to play through the rain and cold temperatures because of the artificial turf at Lee Hedges Stadium.
Benton took advantage and defeated North DeSoto 2-0. Hailey McGhee and Breanna Bundy scored the Lady Tigers’ goals.
Airline split two games in the Gator Cup. The Lady Vikings lost to Dutchtown 1-0 and then came back to defeat North DeSoto by the same score.
