The Benton Lady Tigers remained undefeated with a 4-2 victory over Episcopal Saturday morning at Bossier.
The Lady Tigers, ranked fourth in the Division I coaches’ poll, take a 14-0-1 record into the Christmas break. Episcopal, ranked No. 2 in Division IV, dropped to 8-2. Benton also defeated Ursuline Academy 9-1 Friday. Ursuline Academy is 4-4.
The Benton boys picked up a victory Friday, defeating Dutchtown 2-0.
Jak Jenyan and Sol Kim scored the goals, per the Benton High Boys Soccer Facebook page. The Tigers improved to 6-8-1.
The Bossier boys split games Friday and Saturday in Lake Charles. The Bearkats lost to Barbe 4-0 Friday and defeated St. Louis Catholic 1-0 Saturday.
Luciano Monge scored the goal off an assist from Wilson Alvarado. Logan Bamburg made a save on a penalty kick.
Bossier is 9-5-1. Barbe is 8-3-2. St. Louis Catholic is 3-5-2.
