The Bossier boys and Parkway girls advanced to the second round of the playoffs with victories Friday.
In a Division III first-round match, No. 2 seed Bossier routed No. 31 Livingston Collegiate 7-1 at Memorial Stadium.
In a Division II girls first-round match, No. 8 Parkway rolled past No. 25 A.J. Ellender 8-0 at Bobby Marlow Field at Preston Crownover Stadium.
Three other parish teams saw their seasons end on the road.
In Division I boys, No. 28 Benton lost to No. 5 Sulphur 3-0.
In Division I girls, No. 19 Airline fell to No. 14 West Monroe 2-0, and No. 23 Benton lost to No. 10 Southside 5-2 at Brossard.
At Bossier, the Bearkats improved to 20-2-2. Bossier hosts No. 15 Tara (14-3-2), a 2-1 winner over No. 18 Morris Jeff Community, in the second round Thursday at 5 p.m.
Rony Carcamo had a hat trick. Aidan Bamburg, David Rojas, Yoany Reyes and Jeison Sanchez scored one goal apiece.
Rojas had two assists. Wilson Alvarado, Cristian Matamoros, Carcamo, Joshua Campos and Sanchez all had assists.
At Preston Crownover, Emma Albarado and Isabel Bright scored two goals each for the Lady Panthers, who led 5-0 at the half.
Aubrey Wallace, Kenadee Honaker, Marie Smith and Hallie Worthy scored one apiece,
Albarado, Maggie Schoenborn, Honaker, Kamryn Bluitt and Wallace all had assists.
Parkway (13-7-1) hosts No. 9 David Thibodaux (11-9-3), a 3-1 winner over No. 24 Academy of Our Lady, in in the second round.
At West Monroe, the Lady Rebels scored both goals in the second half. The first one was at about the seven-minute mark and the second at the 33-minute mark.
Both were from about 10 yards out.
Airline closed its season 11-12-4 (11-9-4 against Louisiana teams). West Monroe improved to (18-5-3).
At Broussard, the Benton girls closed their first season in Division I 11-11-3. Southside improved to 18-6-1.
At Sulphur, the Benton boys finished their first season in Division I 11-13-1.
There are two first-round matches involving parish teams Saturday.
In Division II boys, No. 14 Parkway (12-7-1) hosts No. 19 Haughton (13-7-1) at 1 p.m. at Preston Crownover Stadium.
In Division III girls, No. 27 Bossier (7-11-1) travels to New Orleans to take on No. 6 Academy of Sacred Heart (11-6-3) at Pan American Stadium at 5.
