High school soccer: Six parish players make coaches’ All-State teams

Benton senior defender Ben Poole has been named to the Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches’ Association Division II boys All-State first team.

Poole helped the Tigers reach the state championship game for the first time in school history. Benton went 16-5-4 and won the District 1-II title with a 6-0 mark.

Benton senior forward Devin Ryan and junior forward Logan Smith made the second team along with Haughton senior forward Ian Ebarb.

Bossier senior goalkeeper Coleman Beeson made the Division III second team. Beeson helped the Bearkats go 16-5-4 and reach the quarterfinals of the playoffs.

Parkway senior forward Peyton Pipes was named to the Division I girls second team. She scored 35 goals and had 24 assists
