The Airline Lady Vikings and Benton Lady Tigers won games in the Calvary Baptist tournament Friday.
Airline defeated Stanley 10-5, and Benton downed Ruston 15-3 in six innings.
Lindsey Marcinkus led six Airline players with multiple hits, going 3-for-4.
Jina Baffuto had two doubles and an RBI.
Emily Rachal went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Paige Marshall had two hits, including a home run.
Elena Heng and Natalie Sutton had two hits and one RBI each.
Aleena Duran had a double and two RBI. Paris Endris had a double.
Rachal struck out six. Airline improved to 12-6.
Benton’s game was its first in eight days because of postponements.
Sophia Livers had a monster game with a home run, triple, double and six RBI.
Megan Risher went 3-for-4 with a home run and double. Meaux Carroll went 2-for-4 with a home run.
Tayler Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Marissa Schoth had a double.
Ava Defee struck out nine and allowed five hits.
Benton improved to 10-6.
Parkway (6-7) is scheduled to play Quitman at 11:30 a.m. and Winnfield at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Quitman tournament.
