The Airline Lady Vikings, Benton Lady Tigers and Haughton Lady Bucs all won games in the Ouachita Parish tournament Friday.
Airline edged Bentonville, Ark., 1-0, Benton topped West Ouachita 10-4 and Haughton downed Oak Grove 10-5.
Raelin Chaffin pitched a four-hitter with 14 strikeouts and only one walk as Airline (10-2) won its eighth in a row.
The Lady Vikings scored the game’s only run in the top of the third.
Lexi Gray reached base on an error and stole second. Jina Baffuto’s one-out single scored Gray.
Bentonville’s McKenzie Vaughan also pitched a four-hitter.
According to a revised schedule, Airline plays Forest at 1 p.m. Saturday and West Monroe at 3 at the Sterlington Sports Complex.
Sophia Livers, Madi Simms and Tayler Gonzalez all hit home runs in Benton’s win.
Laci Hedgepeth went 3-for-4. Livers also had a double and four RBI. Simms went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Olivia Oliphint and Megan Risher had doubles. Madison Wells got the victory.
Benton (8-3) extended its winning streak to seven.
Madison Trujillo went 3-for-3 with two home runs and four RBI in Haughton’s victory.
Ariana Matthews had two hits and two RBI. Brooklynn Bockhaus also had two hits.
Katelyn Hall and Sara White had doubles.
Whitley Cannon allowed five hits and struck out six.
Haughton improved to 7-4.
Saturday’s games will be the final ones until at least April 13. Gov. John Bel Edwards ordered all public K-12 schools closed until then on Friday.
In a statement, Bossier Schools said all school events, including spring sports and practices, have been canceled until April 13.
