Airline and Haughton picked up non-district victories Monday.
The Lady Vikings defeated Zwolle 7-1 at Zwolle and the Lady Bucs downed Cedar Creek 7-0 at Haughton.
At Zwolle, Taylor Smith struck out 14 and walked only one. She allowed five hits.
Seven Lady Vikings combined for eight hits. Emily Rachal went 2-for-4. Ryan Hutchinson and Aleena Duran had two RBI each.
Airline (8-3) hosts Stanley Tuesday at 5:30.
At Haughton, Dixie Williams allowed five hits, struck out eight and walked none. She also went 2-for-3 with a double.
Reese Mayfield hit a three-run home run in the first inning. Brianna Benecke hit a two-run home run in the second and had three RBI.
Charlee Prothro had a double.
Haughton (7-9) visits Evangel Christian in a District 1-5A game Tuesday at 6.
