Madison Wells pitched a one-hitter as the Benton Lady Tigers defeated Byrd 12-0 Tuesday in a five-inning game at Byrd.
Wells struck out nine and walked two. Benton improved to 6-3 with its fifth straight win.
Megan Risher went 3-for-4 with a home run, triple and four RBI. Anna Claire Kratzer had two doubles.
Tayler Gonzalez hit a home run and doubled. Olivia Oliphint smacked a home run and had two RBI.
Laci Hedgepeth and Wells had one double each.
Elsewhere, Parkway fell to University Academy of Central Louisiana 10-0 at Parkway.
