Benton swept the team titles in the Airline Viking Invitational Thursday.
Benton scored 90.5 points in the girls division. Captain Shreve was second with 73 and Airline third with 69.
Benton scored 109 points in the boys division. Airline was second with 93 and Captain Shreve third with 83.5.

Girls
Airline’s Jaycie Wallace finished first in the 100 in 12.08 and second in the 200 in 24.99. Mansfield’s LaJordan Boykins won the 200 in 24.82. Boykins and Byrd’s Mia Patterson tied for second in the 100 in 12.20.
Benton’s Kyla Daux took the 300 hurdles in 46.11. Captain Shreve’s Leah Bryant was second in 46.12. Daux also finished third in the 100 hurdles.
Benton’s Dominique Coore was second in the 800 in 2:35.45. Byrd’s Pressley Lockey won in 2:32.16.
Benton’s Claire Allen finished second in the 3,200 in 12:06.37. Byrd’s Anna Lake Watts won in 11:43.42.
The Airline foursome of Karliyah Woodard, Symauri Butler, Wallace and Janiyah Boudreaux finished second in the 4X100 relay in 49.13. Mansfield won in 48.89.
Woodard, Wallace, Butler and Jayda Chrisley took second in the 4X400 in 4:22.50. Huntington won in 4:19.68.
The Airline foursome of Sarah-Catherine Tauzin, Reya Lang, Kaylyn Thompson and Chloe Moore was second in the 4X800 in 11:15.45. North DeSoto won in 11:12.23.
Airline’s Shelby Ledet won the high jump with a leap of 5-2. Captain Shreve’s Bryant was second with a 5-0. Parkway’s Caitlynn Johnson also cleared 5-0 and finished third with the tiebreaker.
Benton’s Ryleigh McCoy and North DeSoto’s Macy Wiley both clearly 9-0 in the pole vault. Wiley finished first with fewer misses.
Benton’s Madison Thompson was second in the triple jump with a 33-4. Natchitoches Central’s Tatum Kay won with a 34-2 1/2.
Other third-place finishers from parish schools in individual events were Airline’s Chrisley (400), Benton’s Ava Peters (300 hurdles), Parkway’s Zaniyah Carter (shot put), Parkway’s Johnson (triple jump), Parkway’s Addison Harris (javelin) and Haughton’s Julianna Boyett (pole vault).
Boys
Haughton’s John Hudson Brown, Airline’s Lathan Woodland and Benton’s Case Austin finished 1-2-3 in the 400. Brown ran a 48.38, Woodland a 50.27 and Austin a 50.84.
Austin won the 200 in 22.31, .07 faster than Byrd’s Kristian Roberson.
Benton’s Brody Hutchison took the 800 in 2:03.3. Byrd’s Gordy Graham was second in 2:06.6.
Airline’s Jayden Williams and Noah Lafitte finished 1-2 in the 1.600. Williams ran a 4:46.48 and Lafitte a 4:55.65.
Benton’s Sam Ivins won the 3.200 in 10:32.14. Byrd’s John Ferguson was second in 10:33.54.
Mansfield’s Jayden Youngblood and Airline’s Zion Smith went 1-2 in the 110 and 300 hurdles. Youngblood ran a very fast 13.84 in the 110. Smith was just .07 behind. Youngblood ran a 38.96 in the 300. Smith ran a 39.27.
The Haughton foursome of John Brown, Kyron Turner, Jay’lon Abney and Londell Hogan was second in the 4X200 relay in 1:30.30. Captain Shreve won in 1:29.70.
Airline won the 4X400 in 3:27.56. Captain Shreve was second in 3:33.58.
Benton and Airline finished 1-2 in the 4X800. The Tigers ran an 8:24.06 and the Vikings an 8:25.82.
Benton’s Miller Malley took the pole vault with a vault of 14-0. North DeSoto’s Landon Foust was second with an 11-0.
Airline’s Eli Dollar and Benton’s Jack Jayroe finished 1-2 in the javelin with throws of 148-10 and 145-2, respectively.
Haughton’s Turner tied for first in the long jump and second in the high jump. Turner cleared 6-6 in the high jump. North DeSoto’s Javonte Taylor won with a 6-8.
Turner and Taylor both went 21-4 in the long jump. Airline’s Smith finished one inch back in third.
Airline’s Woodland and Haughton’s Jamarion Gray tied for second in the triple jump with leaps of 44-0. Taylor won with a 45-7.
Parkway’s Devon Oliver was a close second in the discus with a throw of 166-3. Captain Shreve’s Lionel Prudhomme won with a 166-8 1/2.
Benton’s Malachi Zeigler was second in the shot put with a 42-1. Northwood’s Kristion Johnson won with a 48-2.
Haughton’s Joseph Encinas finished third in the 100 and 300 hurdles. Other third-place finishers from parish schools in individual events were Benton’s Dalton Bliss (3,200) and Ryder Dodson (discus).
