Several Parkway athletes fared well in the Huntington Raider Relays on Thursday at Lee Hedges Stadium.
In the girls division, sophomore Mikaylah Williams won the discus with a toss of 111 feet, 11 inches.
Williams and St. Mary’s Maggie Gilmore tied for first in the high jump. They both cleared 5 feet.
Senior Peyton Pipes and freshman Chloe Larry had a close battle in the javelin. Pipes won with a throw of 110-11. Larry was second with a 109-6.
Ariel Morrow was second in the 1,600-meter run in 6 minutes, 10.19 seconds. Loyola’s Lauren Lindsey won in 5:46.43.
Parkway won the 4X200 relay in 1:44.71. The Lady Panthers finished second in the 4X100 in 49.67.
Parkway was third in the team standings with 77 points, just eight behind winner North DeSoto.
Parkway sophomore Jaylan White and Captain Shreve junior Kendrick Law, two of the area’s top football players, went head to head in the boys 100. Law crossed the finish line first in 10.77. White was second in 11.04.
Logan Reese took the triple jump with a leap of 40-3.
Parkway won the 4X800 relay in 9:14.97, about 19 seconds faster than runner-up Captain Shreve.
Despite not bringing a full team, Parkway finished fourth with 48 points. Shreve won with 106.
