Several Benton athletes posted high finishes in the Hoss Garrett Relays hosted by Ruston Thursday.
Case Austin finished second in the boys 400 in 50.96. Ruston’s Ke’Mondrick Hunter won in 49.93.
Ryder Dodson was second in boys discus with a throw of 148-9. West Ouachita’s Caden Waffer won with a 156-6.
Kyla Daux was second in the girls 100 hurdles in 15.96. Jonesboro-Hodge’s Ciara Gray won in 15.57. Daux also finished third in thr 800 in 2:25.3. St. Frederick’s Bradie Eppinnette won in 2:23.8
Dominque Coore took second in the girls 400. Huntington’s Livvy West won in 58.44.
Claire Allen was second in the girls 1,600 in 5:36.14. St. Frederick’s Bradie Eppinnette won in 5:24.06.
Aakyla Pruitt was third in the girls 100 in 12.91. Ruston’s Taniyah Johnson won in 12.89.
Tameara Player took second in the shot put with a 32-2.5. Hamburg’s Anescia Martin won with a 40-1.75.
Benton was third in the 4X200 relay in 1:48.72. Ruston won in 1:43.15.
Benton was third in the girls division with 58 points. Ruston with 145.5. Huntington was runner-up with 82.
