High school track: Parkway’s Wilder fourth in 3,200 in Dallas-area distance event

Parkway junior Adrianna Wilder finished fourth in the 3,200-meter run in the Texas Distance Festival at Southlake Carroll High School on Saturday.

Wilder finished in 11 minutes, 36.66 seconds. Gracie Hyde of Lonoke won in 11:14.38.

The Texas Distance Festival features only four boys and girls events — the 800, 1,600, 3,200 and 5,000.

There were 67 competitors in the girls 3,200.

Parkway’s Carly Hanson finished 38th in the 3,200 in 13:15.20. Cole Billiot finished 17th out of 250 competitors in the boys 1,600 in 4:31.20. Cade Bethmann of Arlington Martin won in 4:14.45.

The annual Bossier Parish Championships meet is Thursday at Parkway.
