The Airline Lady Vikings defeated the Haughton Lady Bucs in straight sets in a non-district volleyball game Tuesday at Haughton.
Airline won 25-20, 25-16, 25-6.
Tori Ligman had seven aces, two kills and 15 digs. Gabby Patronis had six aces, seven kills and nine digs.
Airline improved to 13-8. Haughton dropped to 7-9. The Lady Bucs visit Booker T. Washington in a District 1-II match Thursday.
Elsewhere, the Parkway Lady Panthers fell to defending district champion Ruston 25-20, 25-11, 25-12 at Parkway.
Madison Collins had four kills for Parkway. Hayley Hayden had three kills and one ace. Paris Washington had three aces and one block. Alyssa Colvard had one ace and one dig. Bailee Elliott had one kill and one ace. Faith Ingles and Regan Digilormo had one ace each. Melanie Willis had one block.
Parkway (3-5, 0-3) visits Captain Shreve in another district match Thursday. Ruston improved to 14-2 overall with its 12th straight victory and 3-0 in District 1-I.
The Benton Lady Tigers lost to Northwood in straight sets in a District 1-II match at Benton.
Benton fell to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in district.
