High school volleyball: Bossier gets first-ever victory; Benton improves to 6-2

Bossier won its first-ever volleyball match Wednesday, defeating Booker T. Washington three sets to none at BTW.

Elsewhere, the Benton Lady Tigers continued their strong start with a 3-0 victory over North Caddo in Vivian.

At BTW, the Lady Kats won 25-12, 25-22, 25-15. Bossier (1-3) visits Natchitoches Central Thursday.

At North Caddo, the Lady Tigers won 25-7, 25-5, 25-14. Benton (6-2) visits Byrd Thursday.

In other matches Thursday, Airline is at Northwood, Haughton hosts Parkway and Providence Classical Academy hosts St. Mary’s.
