High school volleyball: Haughton downs Neville for second victory in as many days

The Haughton Lady Bucs picked up their second win in as many days against a Northeast Louisiana team Tuesday.

Haughton defeated Neville in straight sets in Monroe, 25-12, 25-11, 25-14.

On Monday, the Lady Bucs defeated West Monroe three sets to one at home.

At Neville, Lexi Coulson had a double with 11 aces and 10 assists. Laila Clinton had seven assists, five kills and three aces.

Imyni Caston had five kills, two blocks and one ace. Maddie Polk had seven kills and one block.

Shaniya Perkins had three kills and one block. Camille Branton had three kills.

Haughton (3-3) visits Loyola Wednesday.

In other match Tuesday, Airline fell to Calvary Baptist three sets to one at home.

The Lady Cavs won the first two sets 25-21 and 25-16. The Lady Vikings rallied with a 25-11 win in the third. Calvary took the fourth 25-22.

Airline (3-4) hosts Loyola Thursday.
