High school volleyball: Parkway wins third straight; Airline downs Loyola

The Parkway Lady Panthers and Airline Lady Vikings won matches Thursday night.

Parkway defeated Neville three sets to one at Parkway. Airline defeated Loyola College Prep 25-19, 25-12, 25-20 at Airline.

Elsewhere, Benton fell to Calvary Baptist 25-17, 26-24, 25-18 at Benton, and Providence Classical Academy fell to Captain Shreve in straight sets at Shreve.

PCA (2-1) defeated Green Oaks 25-21, 25-23, 25-14 Tuesday at Green Oaks.

At Parkway, the Lady Panthers won the first two sets 25-15 and 25-11. Neville took the third 26-24. Parkway closed out the victory with a 25-18 fourth-set win.

Maggie Schoenborn had 10 aces and Gracie Cobb had six. Lecsi Hilton had nine kills and Caitlyn Johnson had six.

The Lady Panthers (3-1) extended their winning streak to three. Parkway also won the junior varsity match.

At Airline, the Lady Vikings improved to 4-4.

At Benton, the Lady Tigers (4-2) had a four-game winning streak snapped. Calvary Baptist improved to 6-1.
