High school wrestling: Airline picks up two victories

The Airline Vikings won two matches in a tri-meet Tuesday at Airline.

Airline defeated Evangel Christian 53-24 and Byrd 47-33.

Airline’s winners against Evangel were Memphis Brace (106 pounds), Dakota Brace (113), Tyler Eckman (120), Peyton Bass (126), Mason Adamson (132), Thomas Barringer (138), Tucker Almond (145), Calvin Niemann (152) and Pierce Peairs (285).

Airline’s winners against Byrd were Memphis Brace, Dakota Brace, Eckman, Bass, Barringer, Almond, Michael Wright and Peairs.
