The Battle Of The Badges Is Back!
Back by popular demand, Horseshoe Bossier City is proud to present Battle of the Badges on Friday night, June 10, in the Horseshoe Riverdome at 7:30pm. The fight card includes 16 bouts as local Firefighters, Police Officers and Sheriff’s Deputies box it out for a great cause.
The event will benefit the Bossier City Fire Fighters Association, along with the agencies represented in the ring and their many community projects.
The fight card includes a Co-Main Event with two returning Battle of the Badges boxers. Representing Team Fire, Bossier City Fire Fighter Johnny Shelton/ 6ft. 230lbs. (1-1 BOB) will go up against Michael Crisp who will represent Team Police and the Blanchard Police Department. Crisp, 6ft. 215lbs. is (1-1 BOB), undefeated and looking for his 3rd Battle of the Badges Victory. The Main Event is Fire vs. Fire as West Monroe’s Rodney “Lion-Heart” Moore (5.10ft, 190lbs.) takes on Shreveport’s Kinsmon Lancaster (6ft., 190lbs.)
Tickets are available at www.riverdome.com or can be purchased at the door. On June 10th, Riverdome doors will open at 6:30pm and the fights start at 7:30pm.
The Battle of the Badges Weigh-in and Press Conference will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at 3pm in the Horseshoe Riverdome Foyer. We invite you to come out and meet our local heroes as they gear up for a rumble in the dome.
