Human remains found in northern Bossier Parish


Unidentified human remains were found in Northern Bossier Parish Friday afternoon during a joint investigation being conducted by Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Bossier City Police Department.

While Bossier Sheriff’s Office deputies have been assisting Bossier City Police Department officers with their missing persons cases, there is no confirmation as to whether or not the remains discovered have any connection to these particular cases. Investigators have made it clear that the remains are unidentified and that at this point in their investigation, there is no indication of any connection to the missing persons cases.

The Bossier Parish Coroner’s Office is working to determine the identity of the remains. Detectives are continuing their investigation.
