The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 7 a.m., I-20 eastbound outside shoulder will be closed on the approach to the eastbound exit ramp to LA 157 (Exit 33). A portion of the off-ramp will also be closed.
Traffic will still be exit from I-20 to LA 157.
This lane/shoulder closure is anticipated to last approximately two hours, and is necessary for coring of the shoulder and roadway.
DOTD reminds drivers to please proceed with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near an active work zone.
