I-20 eastbound & westbound lanes over Westerfield St. to close

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that two lanes of traffic on I-20 will close next week.

Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. the two eastbound inside lanes of I-20 over Westerfield Street and Union Pacific Railroad, just east of Hamilton Road, in Bossier Parish will be closed. The I-20 westbound inside lane will also be closed at the same location. The I-20 eastbound entrance ramp from Hamilton Road will also be closed.

This is scheduled to continue until Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at 6 a.m.

This is Phase 3 of the work to replace the east bridge end and roadway approach to the bridge on I-20.

The alternate route for travelers is I-220. Loads are restricted to 10 ft. maximum width.
