BOSSIER CITY – Services for John W. Cole will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service Wednesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Rose-Neath Cemetery.
Mr. Cole was born January 17, 1930 to Willie Lee and Lucille Vines Cole and went to be with the Lord November 16, 2013. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a retired Boilermaker.
His parents and a daughter, Juanita Britt Scott preceded him in death.
Mr. Cole is survived by his wife of 62 years, Minnie Lee Cole and a daughter, Kathy Jean Cole both of Bossier City; son, Ronald Lee Britt of Shawnee Mission, KS; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
