BOSSIER CITY – Services to celebrate the life of Judy LaGrone Rowell, 64, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Justin Haigler of The Simple Church. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. The family will receive guests on Monday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Judy passed away on the morning of November 16, 2013. She was born on May 14, 1949, and was the daughter of J.D. and Mildred (Bosley) LaGrone.
Judy lived her life loving her family. They, along with many others, will miss her deeply. She is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Rowell; brother, Billy LaGrone; and her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jennifer Schuler and husband Gray; three beautiful grandchildren, Britney Rowell, Julia Beth Schuler and Joseph Gray Schuler, III; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Moore; sister-in-law, Barbara Caskey and husband James; nieces and nephew, Holly and Hunter Caskey and Mandi Maddox; special cousins, Henry Teekel and Pat Daniels; and many others who will miss their special “MeMe”.
Honoring Judy as pallbearers are Gray Schuler, James Caskey, Hunter Caskey, Nicky Rowell, Derek Reynolds, Jeff Schuler, Steven Aycock and Robert Rowell. Honorary pallbearers are Henry Teekel and Jimmy Rowell.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Julie, Kristi and Barbara of Regional Hospice for all of their care and compassion.
