PRINCETON - Julie Mae Silas Cobb, 72, of Princeton, LA, was born in Natchitoches Parish on December 4, 1940 and passed away at her residence on October 21, 2013. Julie was a Retired Owner of J & W Steel Erectors.
Services celebrating the life of Julie Mae Cobb will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Silas. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Julie Cobb is preceded in death by husband, Willie A. Cobb Sr.; Sons, Dennis D. Lepp Jr and Randall E. Cobb Sr. Her father, James L. Silas; Grandsons, Steven D. Lepp and Chayton Lepp; Great Grandson Baxley R. Cobb.
She is survived by her mother, Clara Hill of Mansfield, LA; Sons, Curtis L. Cobb, Willie A. Cobb Jr., Paul D. Cobb and wife Missy Cobb of Montgomery, LA, daughters, Deborah “Susie” Cobb Young and husband Charles Young of Haughton, LA, Katherine “Kathy” Cobb Ingles and husband Eddie Ingles of Winnfield, LA; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alex Young, Dakota Sulzer, Troy Sulzer, Sammy Cobb, John Cobb and RJ Cobb. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Cutis Cobb and Willie Cobb Jr.
