KEEP LOUISIANA BEAUTIFUL AWARDS $125,000 IN GRANTS TO 12 CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE
AND 13 COMMUNITY AFFILIATES IN 19 PARISHES
Grants promote KLB’s litter prevention programs on the local level
MANDEVILLE, La. – Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser and Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) are pleased to announce the 2025 grant recipients of the KLB Clean Biz Chamber Grant and the KLB Community Affiliate Program Grant, promoting KLB’s litter prevention programs on the local level. KLB has awarded $125,000 in grants to 25 organizations in 19 parishes.
“These grants will give KLB’s Community Affiliates and partner chambers of commerce the support they need to implement outcome-based litter prevention programs on the local level,” said Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser. “It takes all of us working together to make a dent in our state’s litter problem. I want to thank everyone who has rolled up their sleeves to clean up Louisiana.”
“KLB provides tools and resources to support clean and beautiful communities,” said Susan Russell, KLB Executive Director. “We are pleased to provide these grants and look forward to seeing the lasting impact they’ll have.”
The Clean Biz Chamber Grant will award $5,000 to each chamber recipient. Chambers will recruit new Clean Biz partners, promote the Clean Biz Partnership, and engage chamber members in keeping their businesses litter-free and well-maintained. The Community Affiliate Program Grant will award $5,000 to each KLB Community Affiliate recipient to amplify their efforts to engage businesses, stakeholder organizations, and individuals in KLB programs designed to prevent litter. Community Affiliates will promote the Clean Biz Partnership, Love the Boot Week, KLB’s youth educational resources, the Let Louisiana Shine litter prevention campaign, Get Down & Clean Up, and Put the Brakes on Litter.
