In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Shop for Good at Kendra Scott will benefit Feist Weiller Cancer Center on Wednesday, October 27 from 4-6 pm. Kendra Scott is located in the Shoppes at Bellmead at 6535 Youree Drive in Shreveport. 20% of purchases during this time will support breast cancer research, education on prevention and treatment of cancer and access to national clinical trials at Feist Weiller Cancer Center. This is the first time Kendra Scott, an upscale jewelry boutique in Shreveport. is holding a shopping event benefitting Feist Weiller Cancer Center. For those who can’t shop in person, online purchases on October 27 and 28 using the code GIVEBACK-AVESB will also be counted towards funding provided to Feist Weiller Cancer Center.
While shopping, guests will also have the opportunity to tour the Feist Weiller Cancer Center’s Partners in Wellness mobile screening van and meet cancer center leadership. The Partners in Wellness program has delivered mobile cancer screenings in rural communities across north Louisiana since 1999. More than 20,000 women have benefitted from these screenings which are available to all regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
