Kerry W. Mott

Kerry W. Mott, 71, of Bossier City, peacefully, went to be with our Lord, while surrounded by his loving family, Friday, January 31, 2020.

Services for Mr. Mott will begin with a brief gathering of family and friends between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 4, 2020, within the State Room of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Haughton, LA. The Funeral, to include Military Honors will follow at 11:00 AM, in the Mausoleum Chapel, in Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kerry Winfield Mott, was born on Sunday, November 7, 1948 in Ft. Riley, Kansas to the delight of Hubert and Evelyn Mott.
Young Mr. Mott served his country by joining the U.S. Army and remained in until eligible for full military retirement. Later he went back to school to obtain a Master’s Degree from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston.

He loved and enjoyed many things. He was: a teacher, as he taught Sunday School for many years; a carpenter, as he could build anything; an iron worker, as he forged his own tools; a singer, as he was in the church choir; a sportsman, as he would: scuba dive, hunt, fish, and golf; a Christian, as he led by example, witnessed for his savior Jesus Christ, and ‘Fisher-of-Men’, and overall committed servant to the Lord; a doting son, a loving brother, and a faithful, adoring, husband.

Preceding Mr. Mott in death was his father, Hubert Andrew Mott, Sr., and a brother, Hubert Mott, Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are: his devoted wife of 39 years, Tok Nam Kim Mott; his mother, Evelyn Florence King Mott; his brother, Alan R. Mott, and his sister, Toni B. Mott.

All of his loving family, dear friends, church family, and former students, will all miss him greatly, as he had a positive impact on so many.
