‘Kickoff’ prep football with BPT’s Football Preview

The sights and sounds of football season are upon us.

To get you game day ready, the Bossier Press-Tribune has gathered everything you need to know about the upcoming season into a special section, located inside today’s edition. The 2015 Bossier Parish high school football preview is packed with highlights, photos, team information and a preview of things to come this season.

Inside are previews of all six parish teams with scouting reports that break down each team’s offense, defense and overall prospects. There is also a capsule look at four potential impact players from each team.

You will also find schedules and a graphic look at how each team has fared over the past five years.

This year, The Press-Tribune has added previews of the three districts in which parish schools compete — 1-5A, 1-4A and 1-1A. In these you’ll find our predictions, last year’s standings, district notes and lists of 2014 underclassmen who made All-District and All-State last season. The preview concludes with a brief look at some of the top match ups.

“Our Football Preview publication just gets bigger and better each and every year,” Publisher Randy Brown said. “Inside these pages, you will find this areas most comprehensive report on Bossier Parish High School Football for 2015! Our Sports Editor, Russell Hedges, and the entire BPT team has once again done an amazing job in putting this special section together. This is our biggest special section of the entire year for BPT. And, though I have many favorites, Football Preview is my very favorite special section that we publish! So, we sincerely hope that you enjoy this special section publication as much as we enjoy bringing it to you! Lots of hard work and long hours went into putting this special section together.”

Brown and the BPT team extends their sincerest thanks to the community and advertising partners for making this special publication happen.

“Kickoff is near! So, go ahead..it is time to look inside to see a preview of what you will be seeing on the field this season,” he added.
