
The Krewe of Gemini is ready to kick off a new year and make it bigger than our precious years. The 2014-2015 Theme Announcement will be on June 28 at 7 p.m.
Captain Bernie Bitting will announce the Krewe of Gemini XXVI theme. The event will take place at The Supper Club located at 610 Commerce Street in downtown Shreveport.
Any guests or potential members are invited to attend, ticket price is $25 for non-members. A cash bar with heavy hors’ devourers will be served.
In addition to the food, socializing, theme being revealed there will be fun and games to reveal the theme for year 26. The Float Lieutenants will also draw for their pick of how their float will appear in the Krewe of Gemini Original Parade for 2015.
Krewe of Gemini is now in their 26th year being a premier gathering not just during the month of February, but all year round. The Krewe traditionally provides the largest free show with its original Mardi Gras parade and festivities.
The Krewe of Gemini next meeting will be held at the Mardi Gras Museum on July 21, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., at 2101 East Texas Street, Bossier City. This is the home of the oldest parading Krewe in Northwest Louisiana.
