La. Guard to open new recruiting office in Bossier

The Louisiana Army National Guard’s Recruiting and Retention Command is scheduled to host the grand opening of their new recruiting office in Bossier City Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014.

The event is free to the public and will feature live music from the 156th Army Band, giveaways, food and static displays. Recruiters will also be on hand to discuss job opportunities, college scholarships and more.

This is the only LANG storefront office in the northwest portion of the state, making it more accessible to those citizens who wish to find out more about what it means to “Protect What Matters” while serving in the Louisiana Army National Guard.
