Funeral services for Lee Hale McVey will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Officiating will be Wendell Glass and Charles Beckham. Interment will follow at Forest Park West in Shreveport. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Lee was born April 23, 1933 in Como, Louisiana and entered into rest September 8, 2013 in Minden, Louisiana.
Her first husband Nathaniel Miles Hale preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Bill McVey of Doyline, sons Roger Dale Hale, Sr. of Minden, Jerry Neil Hale of Breaux Bridge, Bruce L. McVey, Russell C. McVey, brother James R. Cowart, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
