Library: Research your future investments

Bossier Parish Library has a link on our website to the State Library databases where you can access important business information.  Those of you who follow the Stock Market and have investments may enjoy browsing the Business Searching Interface.  To get started go to www.bossierlibrary.org, and click on All Research Databases under the menu Research & Homework.

VickieHardin copyBrowse and search for country economic data, company profiles, industry information, and market research.  There are several categories to help narrow your search, for instance: Author–drug company, industrial equipment, construction supply;  Company Information–country, revenue, number of employees; Industry Profiles–telecommunications, biotechnology, aluminum; Business Videos–Harvard Faculty Seminar Series; Company Profiles–in the U.S. and other countries; and Market Research Reports on aircraft values, consumer behavior, or cellular subscribers by country. This is a very small sample of what is available.

This database is a great tool for people who like to do their own investment research.
