“The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown will be the topic of discussion at the next Bossier Central Book Club. The group will meet on Thursday, February 18 at 12:00p.m., and again at 6p.m. with guest speaker Duke Griffey leading the program.
In The Times March 12, 2015 edition, local author Judy Christie wrote in her column about Griffey’s enthusiastic review of “The Boys in the Boat.” In fact, Mr. Griffey stated that he liked the book so much he began to give copies to his family and friends. That is truly high praise.
Whether you are a history buff, just like a great story, or want to find out what all the excitement is about everyone is welcome to attend the program. It is free to the public and refreshments will be served.
