BOSSIER CITY – Graveside services celebrating the life of Lillian Huffman Wisdom will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.
Lillian was born on July 3, 1917 in Hemphill, TX and passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 in Bossier City, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H Huffman and Mary Josephine Taylor Huffman, her husband, MSgt. Lewis E. Wisdom, son MSgt. Travis G. Stutts, 10 brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish her precious memory are her sons, Ernest W. Wisdom and his wife, Denise, James F. Stutts and wife, Naomi, daughters, Doris Cole and Shirley Lee, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Lillian was a loving homemaker. She was also a babysitter. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Colonial Oaks, Jay and Cindy Burhart.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
