The highly anticipated Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana opened its doors for an exclusive media preview today, offering a first look at the $270+ million entertainment destination before its grand opening on February 13, 2025.
Local and regional media were given an extensive tour of the luxury hotel, casino floor, and dining venues as the final preparations took place. Construction crews worked on finishing touches, while new team members participated in training sessions at the Event Center. The property’s art installations, featuring contributions from local and international artists, were also unveiled.
“We’re not just a casino. We’re not just a collection of restaurants. We’re not just a hotel. We are an entertainment destination,” said Joshua Robinson, vice president of marketing for Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana.
As part of this vision, the casino will feature a DraftKings Sportsbook, integrated within Sports & Social, a premier sports bar and restaurant. The venue boasts a state-of-the-art LED media wall, craft cocktails, and an immersive game-day experience, complete with DJs, competitions, and interactive entertainment.
The preview event also showcased the casino’s diverse dining and nightlife options, offering signature dishes and specialty cocktails. Highlights include:

- Ridotto Grand Café – An Italian eatery inspired by Venice’s historic first casino, offering all-day specialties.
- The R-Bar – A cocktail and oyster bar featuring fresh seafood, handcrafted drinks, and live entertainment.
