The United Way of Northwest Louisiana will hold its annual ‘Fill the Bus’ back to school drive August 1-3.
United Way asks that if you are out and about this weekend at one of the following Walmart locations to pick up a few additional school supplies to drop off in the donation bins located at each entrance.
The supplies will be donated to local elementary schools and agencies to help children get a head start on their education this upcoming school year.
The following is a list of dates and locations to ‘Fill the Bus’:
Shreveport – 1645 E. Bert Kouns Ind. Loop:
-Friday, August 1st. 12pm – 6pm
-Saturday, August 2nd, 10am – 4pm
-Sunday, August 3rd, 1pm – 5pm
Bossier City – 2536 Airline Drive:
-Saturday, August 2nd, 11am – 5pm
Vivian – 929 S. Pine Street:
-Saturday, August 2nd, 11am – 6pm
