Louisiana Downs opens Sportsbook

Louisiana Downs Casino and Racetrack opened its new Sportsbook this
afternoon. The in-person sports betting will be temporarily located just inside the casino.

“This is just another feature that we promised to bring to our guests who visit this iconic casino
and racetrack,” said Kevin Preston, President of Rubico Acquisition Corporation, which
purchased the track late last year.

The temporary sportsbook will operate while work begins on a much larger Sportsbook that will
offer food options and other amenities.

“There is no other casino in Northwest Louisiana, where you can try your luck at one of the
hundreds of slot machines in our casino, watch and place bets on live horse racing and now
place bets on upcoming sporting events,” said Preston. “This is just the beginning of what we
hope will be many more exciting changes coming to Louisiana Downs.”

Earlier this month, the casino began its Club 74 rewards program. You can request a new card
at the cashier’s cage on the casino floor.
