Kick off your Fourth of July fun early at Louisiana Downs Racetrack and
Casino. The celebration of America’s 250 th birthday will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, with food, fun
and fireworks.
The fun starts at 3 p.m. Families can enjoy the free Kids’ Zone with bounce houses and more. If you
are hungry, food truck alley will be set up near the track. You can also eat inside the facility at The
Inside Rail, Scoops & Slices, and Bossier’s favorite Chinese restaurant, Lucky Palace.
Louisiana Downs has a full card of thoroughbred racing on July 3. Post time for the first race is
4:05 p.m. Following the last race of the day, Flashback 5 will take the stage for a free family concert.
The celebration ends with a spectacular fireworks show that will light up the sky over Louisiana
Downs after the concert.
