HAUGHTON – Services for Loyd Knotts will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Dungun officiating, assisted by Rev. Susan Dungan. Interment will follow at East Mount Olive Cemetery in Bienville Parish. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Loyd was born in Bienville Parish to Keete Loyd and Letha Holland Knotts on March 9, 1937. He passed away on April 24, 2014. Mr. Knotts retired from Lucent, formally AT&T after many dedicated years.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Jan Orren Knotts, daughters Pat Millican and husband Jack, Ann Meyer and husband Mitch, grandchildren Melanie Miller and husband Trent, Jeramy Millican, Brittany Millican, Brandon Meyer, Taylor Meyer, great grandson Kash Miller, sister Judy Davis, and brother Jessie “Dick” Knotts and wife Dorothy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Loyd’s name to Haughton United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice .
