Providence Classical Academy, located in Bossier City, will be hosting its “Taste of Providence” banquet on Friday, October 30th, from 6-8pm, featuring LSU football legend, Dr. Billy Cannon, on the eve of the 56th anniversary of his famous “Halloween Run” that catapulted LSU to #1.

Cannon, LSU’s only Heisman Trophy winner, will share about his football experiences at LSU and in life, and be signing copies of his newly released biography, Billy Cannon: A Long, Long Run.  The emcee of banquet event will be beloved KTBS-Channel 3 television personality, Rick Rowe.

Attendees will include local dignitaries and honored guests, and all in attendance will have the opportunity to bid on extraordinary auction items ranging from sports memorabilia to jewelry to trips. After the evening meal, guests will be treated to presentation about the mission and vision of Providence Classical Academy, including powerful student testimonies regarding what Providence has meant to them.
