LSU Shreveport Admissions will be hosting a Pilot Palooza on Friday, April 22, from 12:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M for prospective students, parents, and the community to visit campus and have some fun.
There will be food, games, music, and an “LSUS Pilot Palooza Bowl.” The Pilot Palooza bowl will feature a tournament of sixteen, five member teams from local high schools to compete in an alternative form of soccer for the 1st Annual Pilot Palooza Bowl Championship.
Pilot Palooza, formally known as Preview Day, is an event to provide awareness to the community about the educational, scholarship, dual enrollment, financial aid, and transfer opportunities provided by LSUS. There will be seminars throughout the day for those who want to learn more about the application process, student events, academic degree offerings, and more.
In addition to Pilot Palooza, LSUS will be bringing attention and support to the Common Ground Community in Shreveport’s efforts to provide food and clothing for the less fortunate. The theme is “Bring Food to Be Fed.” All donations will be given to Common Ground Community. Citizens of Shreveport and Bossier City are invited to bring food and/or clothing to this event to assist the Common Ground staff in their awesome task of helping those in need, and to enjoy all of the LSUS Family fun on campus.
