Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser to visit Keep Bossier Beautiful Saturday

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser to visit Keep Bossier Beautiful (KBB) Saturday, Feb. 26 at 8:45 a.m. Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser will greet KBB board members and volunteers at the Bossier Sheriff’s Office Viking Drive Substation located at 2510 Viking Drive, Bossier City.
With the recent creation of Governor Edwards’ Litter Task Force, attention and support to raise awareness for local work such as KBB are provided. KBB volunteers will perform their annual Community Appearance Index on Feb. 26 as required by all Keep America Beautiful (KAB) affiliates. This assessment is a tool to gather and measure data by surveying a random, statistical sample of our parish. This data is used by KAB affiliates across our nation to assure consistency among affiliates. This data will also provide information for determining changes in attitudes and behaviors regarding litter and related issues.
