Detectives with the Bossier City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit have arrested a Bossier City man on an attempted murder charge for firing multiple gunshots at another man last week.

24-year old Darmaineya Francis was arrested this morning after detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest for attempted second degree murder. Francis is accused of firing several gunshots at a another man on the night of June 30, 2015 outside an apartment at the Cloverdale Apartments in the 2200 block of Shed Road after the two got into a verbal altercation. The other man was not struck by the gunfire.

Francis was booked into the Bossier City Jail and later transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. His bond is set at $100,000.
