Tia’s Hope was founded by the family of Tia Palermo who battled Non-Hodgkin lymphoma for over 11 years until her loss in 2012. It was Tia’s wish that children receive joy and gifts during their stay at the hospital. Since Tia’s Hope was founded in 2012, they have partnered with over 8 hospitals around the country.

“Due to the generosity of Margaritaville Casino Resort, we are able to partner with two extraordinary hospitals in Shreveport and positively impact the lives of over 500 patients,” Jess Ravich, Founder of Tia’s Hope said. With the donation by Margaritaville Resort Casino the mission of Tia’s Hope will extend to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Shreveport and University Health in Shreveport.
