BOSSIER CITY – A Celebration of life service for Margie Spencer will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Buck Furlow officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Margie enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, gardening and cooking. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fredie Spencer, sisters Doris Day and Gertrude Gray and brother Grover Hodges.
Margie is survived by her son Gary Moore and daughter-in-law Sherri, brother Sonny Hodges and wife Sue, three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Moore, Jonathan Moore, Michael Bates, Danny Bates, Scotty Hodges and Shannon Hodges.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Harmony Life Hospice, Sherri, and Sue for their care, James Powell for his support for the family and Thony David, her longtime hairdresser.
